Golden is an electrifying celebration of the rich lineage from Jazz to Funk music and dance. This unique event on 22 Nov 2025 brought together leaders from Singapore’s vibrant Jazz and Street dance communities for an unforgettable night of connection, creativity, and rhythm.
The event kicked off with an open Lindy Hop class led by Elisha & Marsha, followed by a Lindy Hop / funk social accompanied by live music, welcoming both Lindy Hoppers and Street dancers onto the floor. It was a rare chance for these communities to dance, jam, and share in the same rhythm.
Then, the best 4 Jazz and best 4 Street dancers from the party were selected for a 2v2 dance battle where Jazz and Street dancers pair up. Congratulations to Hannah and partner who emerged champions!
The evening was a two-hour performance showcase, spotlighting some of Singapore’s most accomplished artists in Jazz and Street dance. Each act brought its own signature style, from rhythmical tap footwork to powerful funk grooves.
