One detail of the porch roof is the large flat roof light we want to fit. This will give us much needed natural light into the adjacent rooms. While the porch does not itself require building regs, the requirement for roof lights is a minimum upstand of 150mm. This will then be wrapped in EPDM external and insulated between and inside before plasterboard.
