Flemish author and poet David Van Reybrouck denounces the Western voting system in his book, "Against Elections". He says that in Europe we are suffering from democratic fatigue syndrome and warns that the EU could be over in less than a year. Instead of elections, he would like to see a lottery system: picking a random selection of citizens and getting them to help governments do their work. David Van Reybrouck explains his proposals to FRANCE 24.
