Tying my original dry fly, "Royal Peacock." It's a terrestrial fly immitating beetles and horseflies, drowning on the stream surface. Unique feature of the fly is its shape... it's shaped like an "umbrella." Peacock herl body would penetrate straight into the water while vertical hackling would grip the water surface. Calf tail wings should be recognized by both fish and the person who is fishing...
