Source, of course is the wonderful andtheconductoris.eu.
Luckily enough, there were exactly 20 male conductors who have conducted at least 7 entries.
I thought of this idea when I came back in our school choir and I thought the new director had their expertise more on conducting rather than choir singing. I originally wanted to learn conducting earlier this year when singer Francesca Michielin in the Sanremo Music Festival conducted one of my favorites of the year, Emma's "Ogni volta è così."
I would just like to apologize too on the fact that the diverse camerawork dictated the screen time for each conductor, sometimes the transition from one to another in this video could be too quick or long for your attention span.
Furthermore, in the selected clips comparing their debut and final appearances, some indicated adjustments were made during instances of lack of footage.
This is the last Eurovision video that I'm gonna make, for a while because of school. Any new releases would probably be updates on my past Eurovision videos only. I just hope, somehow, that I have brought some refreshment to my viewers preference wise.
P.S.
Thumbnail: The performance of Birthe Kjær's "Vi maler byen rød" (Denmark 1989), one of the video's three featured background music. The photo involves Henrik Krogsgård (=15), who left the orchestra in the middle of the song to become a background dancer. In the gimmick, he was replaced by Benoît Kaufman.
