In this frosty Merrie Melodies short, Wile E. Coyote tries to trap the Road Runner using an ACME snow-making machine, dumping snow on the desert road and posting a “Chains Required” sign. He tests the chains with a magnet—but the gag backfires when the magnet pulls him into a snowblower. From there, the hijinks escalate: Coyote drops bombs from a kite, skydives but lands in a tornado, gets caught in a trap wall, bungles a dynamite-armed extension arm, and practices karate—only to accidentally karate-chop an ACME van instead of the Road Runner. It’s slapstick at full tilt with that classic no-dialogue, explosive humor we love.
