http://www.carlislepaddles.com - This is truly a classic run. This run was first rafted two years ago by a group who did the top half at higher water, then hiked out and hiked back in at lower water levels to finish the bottom half. The first group had to portage a couple of drops, including the classic first waterfall, which is within 100-200 yards after putting in. We decided to give it a go a couple months after the first descent and were able to run almost everything; we still had one portage but we made the run top to bottom at the level we had. We came back for the third descent (featured video) and were able to run everything portage free and had super clean lines and no swims. We even had the chance to rescue a kayak and assist a kayaker; rafters and kayakers don't always see eye to eye, so it was nice to be able to help out. This is a super classic run that is class V-V+ with big boulder gardens and one near twenty foot water fall at the start and a 30 foot falls in the middle that cannot be portaged and is aptly named Bohemoth (an especially fun drop in a raft). Have been back since and will definitely do this one many more times.
