Experiencing Melukat: A Balinese Water Purification Ritual

My sister and I experienced Melukat, a Hindu purification ritual in Bali. We were guided by Dwiana, a tour guide and a wood carver. This ritual cleanses the body from negative energy, bad luck, and illness. It's a significant part of Balinese culture, and even if you're not Hindu, you can still experience it with a local guide.

A few months ago, I had dealt with bouts of anxiety, so I explored spiritual activities beyond just praying and meditating. Bali is just the right setting for this purpose.
