How the Internet Began!

What do you think the first message ever sent over the internet was? A complicated code? A brilliant scientific phrase? Nope. It was just two simple letters.

​In 1969, as researchers were trying to log into a remote computer system using the newly created ARPANET (the precursor to the internet), the system crashed as they typed the letter 'O'. So, the very first, historic transmission over the network was the hilarious and humble message: "LO." They were trying to type "LOGIN."
