Ingredients
For the Dough:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp instant dry yeast
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp oil or melted butter
¾ cup warm milk (adjust as needed)
For the Filling (Vegetable Option):
1 tbsp oil
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrot, peas, corn, bell pepper), boiled or sautéed
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp garam masala or curry powder
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves (optional)
For the Egg Wash (optional):
1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk (or use milk only)

Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough:
Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
Add oil and warm milk gradually to make a soft dough.
Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
Cover and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
2. Make the Filling:
Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions and ginger-garlic paste.
Add veggies and spices. Cook until mixture is dry.
Let it cool completely.
3. Assemble the Buns:
Punch down dough and divide into equal portions.
Flatten each ball, place filling in the center, and seal tightly.
Place on a greased baking tray, seam side down.
Let them rise again for 15–20 minutes.
4. Bake:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Brush buns with egg wash or milk.
Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Serve Warm:
Enjoy as a snack or part of a meal with ketchup, chutney, or tea.
