Genmax 3300i Generator 150+ Hour Maintenance & Review

We are giving our generator some much needed TLC. We bought it last summer to keep up with our electrical demands. Not only did it fit our budget, but it's a pure sine wave, super efficient generator that fits into the space where our old generator lived. Steven figured out how to keep it cool and fill it up from the gas tank on our RV. But it's long overdue for an oil change and in order to do that we have to pull it completely out of the RV. We know we are going to be doing quite a bit of boondocking this summer and we really rely on it to provide us with power and to charge up our batteries. So it's definitely a chore worth doing. Good thing we did too, because there were more than a couple times last year where we forgot to turn the cooling fans on and definitely got our little generator too hot. So we are crossing our fingers we don't find any big chunks of metal in the old oil. We are also making sure that we put synthetic oil back in. After all, we want this to power our future for as long as possible. As the old saying goes, if you take care of your equipment, your equipment will take care of you.
