Back in good old Monitcello.
After having a fun day at the IRM yesterday, we made our way south on a sunny Sunday to the Monticello Railway Museum for their annual Railroad Days event and it was blast. From seeing IC 8733 on the Caboose Hop to seeing Southern 401 in steam for her first Railroad Days since her overhaul, as well as seeing some stuff sitting around the museum such as soon to be IC 4044 at the locomotive shops and the museum's newest addition, RPCX 1407, a rebuilt Illinois Central SW14. All in all, it was a really fun day, despite the heat. Enjoy!
