Exploring Alcatraz - Night Tour

During our trip to San Fransisco, we took a boat across the water to Alcatraz for a "night" tour. It was more of an evening tour as it turned to night shortly before we left the island.
The boat ride was quick and very windy, which made for a cool ride despite the near 30 degrees celcius weather.
Exploring Alcatraz was cool. We got to listen to the tour on an audio device that we could pause and play according to how quickly we were moving through the site. There were also live information sessions throughout the time we were there, which you could pop into and checkout at your leisure.
Overall, we would recommend this experience.
