After playing with foxes in Miyagi, I counterclockwise my way into Iwate Prefecture! The first thing on my agenda is to take an open-air boat down the wonderous Geibikei Gorge. I then took a short detour to visit Kitakami to look for Ogerpon before darting off to see Ryusendo Cave. Unlike the Akiyoshi Cave, I felt this one had me climbing many flights of stairs lol. Just across Ryusendo there is also Ryusen Shindo Science Museum, which was a mini cave with many artifacts scattered around.
*There were many kind people in Iwate. For example, the captain from my boat tour gave the "OK" when I asked if I could sit on the deck upon our return from the gorge. My favorite interaction would definitely be with the two women at Morioka Station. I only asked if they could take my photos, but they took videos, AND hyped every moment xD!!
