Six months since their last release, side by side was written exclusively for an advertisement by Morinaga.
Embracing Morinaga's corporate slogan "For Ever Brighter Smiles" and the theme of the commercial "Together as one, regardless of age and gender" into their writing and composition, the lyrics are about appreciating every step you take each day with the people you love and care about, no matter the mood.
Airy skipping rhythm, bright and pop melody, the deep and rich acoustic strings vibrate to enhance flavor to this piece.

Since autumn of 2019 odol has been constantly receiving offers from various creators and companies, writing and releasing commercial songs, karada for Earth Corporation, boundless for UCC coffee, essence of heart for radiko and hiatus for a cinematic band ECHOLL appearing in the Japanese movie "Our 30 Minute Sessions".

Through experience in sharing views with people outside of the music field odol continued to write comprehensive music, and side by side proudly exhibits the encapsulation of their year 2020.
