After a successful opening ceremony, the Digital Young Entrepreneurs Lab (DYEL) continued on November 12, 2025, at the CRETFP Kpalimé with a full day of inspiring and practical sessions led by national and international experts.
Launched under the Academy Des Leaders program and funded by the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2025, the DYEL project aims to strengthen the digital and entrepreneurial skills of 50 young Togolese entrepreneurs across the country’s five regions. Its mission is to foster innovation, creativity, and U.S.–Togo economic cooperation, while accelerating the nation’s digital and entrepreneurial transformation.
The day began with a motivational session on Leadership and Entrepreneurial Mindset, led by Apétolé Komlan Gbassakpo, where participants explored confidence, vision, and resilience as key traits of successful leaders. This was followed by an engaging workshop on The Qualities of a Digital-Age Leader, co-facilitated by Aïcha Ouro-Sama Nytché and Klenam Sandra Amabley, highlighting inspiring journeys of women entrepreneurs shaping the future of business in Togo.
In the afternoon, Oboubé Aimé Tossah led a hands-on session on video and visual content creation, empowering participants to use smartphone-based production kits to enhance their online presence. Efy Saboutey then introduced a session on Artificial Intelligence and Smartphone Tools for Entrepreneurship, demonstrating how digital tools can boost innovation, marketing, and business efficiency.
The day concluded with a masterclass on Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation by Shelli Brunswick, encouraging participants to identify digital growth opportunities and embed innovation in their business strategies. Finally, Oboubé Aimé Tossah, National Coordinator of DYEL, closed with a motivational reflection — urging participants to transform the skills learned into tangible action and community impact.
The Digital Young Entrepreneurs Lab is actively seeking technical, financial, and institutional partners to extend its impact across all regions of Togo.
By partnering with DYEL, you help build a generation of digitally skilled, innovative, and self-reliant African entrepreneurs.
We welcome collaboration with organizations, embassies, development agencies, and private sector leaders passionate about youth empowerment, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
