To make the buttercream, you will need:
500g icing sugar
200g margarine
1-2 teaspoon vanilla (or other flavour)
1-2 tablespoon milk or custard
Gel/paste food colour in pink/red/orange or yellow or a combo for the brain and any colour for the witches hat

For the witches hat, you will need black and any other colour fondant

Tip:
Do not make the mistake of buying white fondant intending to colour it black - it will never be as black as they kind you buy from a store :)

Have extra icing sugar on hand in case your buttercream is too soft
