Supporters of Patkura MLA Arvind Mohapatra gheraoed Sankh Bhavan, protesting against his suspension. The demonstrators opposed the party’s decision and demanded that Mohapatra be reinstated.

During the protest, supporters said, “Naveen should remove the blindfold from his eyes like Dhritarashtra and choose good people.” They added that they would be happy if a “Suna Munda”—meaning a good and capable MLA—like Arvind Mohapatra is included in the party.
