She was born partially blind and with eyes her mom described as monstrous and hideous. When she was 7, her mother poured bleach over her daughter’s face. She succumbed to her wounds and died. This made her completely blind. When Azrael came to collect her, he was surprised. He decided then and there to adopt her and brought her back. Leroy became a babysitter because Azrael was always out. Mel began calling them both Papa (Azrael) and Daddy (Leroy). This was not much of a change when they (finally) got together༒ ❦
