Complete Journey to the Batu Caves & Exploring

If youre swinging by Kuala Lumpur, your journey will not be complete without visiting the Batu Caves. The Batu Caves are about 1 or so away from the city.
The Batu Caves can be reached via the metro. The metro fare is less than $1.00 (USD) and its very easy to use. If you run into any difficulty, you can easily reach out to the station employees. They were really helpful when I asked them for guidance.
Once you hop on the train, sit back and enjoy the ride. When you arrive to the train station, you will be right at the entrance of the Batu Caves (5 min walk?!). It's really nearby. No need for taxis or transportation.
There are several sites within the batu caves:
The entrance (great place for pictures)
The 272 colorful steps/stairs (another great place for pictures!)
The main entrance to the cave
The temple inside the cave
the deeper end of the cave
The Dark Cave (very dark place!)
There is another cave on the other side
There is also a nice market that has restaurants and souvenir shops
I definitely enjoyed my visit to the Batu Caves. I would highly recommend you visit. Very well worth the time!
