Chinen Shicha Naka no Kon (or 知念志喜屋仲の棍 in Japanese) is a Ryukyu Kobujutsu Bo Kata. While employed by the 18th century Okinawan Bōjutsu master Uēkata Soeishi (who was the military arts instructor of the king of Ryūkyū), his servant Chinen Shicha Naka (or 知念志喜屋仲in Japanese) secretly studied Bōjutsu after having observed his master practicing this. When Master Soeishi Sensei caught him praticing with a Bo, he was so impressed that he accepted his servant as his student. The kata Chinen Shicha Naka no Kon is said to be the fruit of this study.
