Seeking comfort and pleasure
Ignoring God and others
But Jesus didn’t live for Himself.
He lived to serve, to love, and to obey the Father—even to the point of dying for us.
The Bible says,
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)
To live like Christ:
Deny yourself daily—put God’s will above your desires
Serve others sacrificially—love without expecting anything in return
Obey God completely—even when it’s hard or unpopular
Stop living for yourself. Stop chasing the world’s fleeting pleasures.
Start living a life that mirrors Jesus’ love, humility, and obedience.
Ask yourself today:
“Am I living for myself—or am I living like Christ?”
