Shibamata felt like a quiet pause in Tokyo for me.
I sat for a while at Shibamata Park, watching life move gently. I spent the day slowly walking through Taishakuten Sando, with its old shops and nostalgic atmosphere, before visiting Taishakuten Temple, calm and full of history. and then ended the walk at Yamamoto-tei, enjoying the peaceful garden and traditional house.
No rush, no crowds, just a soft, timeless side of Tokyo that made me slow down and breathe.
