In episode 6, I continue my ride from Styn towards Strynefjellet. Over this mountain pass, it starts raining, and the gravel road is getting more and more slippery. I stop at Grotli for a quick charge-up of the Livewire and ride to Gerianger, where there are more bad weather waits. Then Trollstigen (Trolls Ladder) waits, and extreme rainfall hits me. This is dangerous, and rocks can come down. The next day, several Swedish riders were hit by rocks, and the road was closed. Wet and cold, I did come to Åndalsnes, where I got in contact with a friend, and I stayed for the night not far from Kristiansund.
Can you tour on a Livewire? Livewire is an electric motorcycle and has a short range of 160–240 km (depending on speed, wind, temperature, and so on), and many people claim it is too difficult to tour on an electric. But with a good charging infrastructure, it should be possible, right? Join me on this tour to watch the beautiful scenery in Norway and ride with me over many epic and amazing mountain passes.
