Only 4 F-series Supercharged 57 Ford sedans were made. This is a tribute to one of those rare hot rods! A supercharger and a 4-speed in a sleeper stripped down car is all about performance. From the estate of Wayne Blackwood. He was an avid Ford enthusiast owning Ford dealerships, racing Fords and driving, owning, building nothing but Fords! He built this car for himself, it was one of his keepers until he passed.

EXTERIOR: This black 2 door sedan is slick. The body is amazing. Black hides nothing, this one has nothing to hide. It is laser straight from every angle. Clean southern body, no rust or damage. The gaps are precise, doors shut like new. The paint is a mirror! You can read the phone book in the reflection. It has been painted several years, there are a few insignificant flaws. Door handles and mirrors look new. The stainless moldings and anodized inserts were all replaced. Bumpers and grill were rechromed. The window gaskets and fuzzy seals were replaced. The rims are painted, poverty caps look new. The radial tires still have nubs on the tread. New weatherstrips and windshield.

INTERIOR: The seats and door panels were replaced with correct reproduction. The window cranks and handles were replaced. The gray headliner, visors and welting were replaced. It has nice black carpet on the floor but the coolest part is the Hurst 4-speed shifter sticking out of the hump. The dash is original and overall good shape. It does have a vintage style tachometer on the column and 3 Stewart Warner gauges below the dash.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 312 was built with a 337 stroker kit engineered for this application with a Paxton Supercharger. The heads were ported and polished, a flow chart is included. It has a performance cam, flat top pistons, NOS lifters, billet crank, roller timing. New bearings, h-beam rods, ARP bolts. The supercharger is correct including the pully, brackets, blower case etc. The system has been rebuilt. The detailed engine specs are included. Upgraded dual reservoir brake master cylinder. Dressed up with Thunderbird Special finned valve covers. Upgraded Pertronix ignition. It features power steering. Updated with dual reservoir master cylinder. The wiring looks new, components are clean.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal painted black. There is sound deadener on the floor. New mat and weatherstrip. The spre is a whitewall tire on a painted rim.

UNDERSIDE: The front end was completely rebuilt. Brakes were rebuilt, upgraded with Wilwood disc in front. E-brake is hooked up. The dual exhaust has glass pack style mufflers. Floors and frame are clean. The bottom of the car is painted a satin black.

This is a unique car. Nobody expects to see the Paxton Supercharger under the hood. Great conversation starter.
