Never Done | Publicis Sapient x Breakwater Studios

In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic triggered widespread unemployment and mass evictions across the US. Congress approved nearly $15B in emergency housing relief, but local programs were overwhelmed by the sheer number of families in distress. These programs needed to find a new way to process and serve the unprecedented caseload, or millions of Americans would face homelessness. This is the story of one community who found a way.

Publicis Sapient teamed up with 2022 Oscar-winner Ben Proudfoot to produce Never Done, a documentary about a single mother who is able to access emergency rental assistance and evade eviction in the nick of time. This film reveals how replacing manual processes with a Salesforce platform has helped thousands of people from falling through the cracks in one North Carolina community. Never Done is a never-before-seen look at the ways that digital can solve some of society's greatest challenges.
