As part of the University of Cape Town's Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health's social responsiveness lecture series, Dr Valerie Sinason presented an online lecture. HOsted by the Division of Intellectual Disability, the talk was entitled, 'Working with trauma in a country in trauma and a time of covid: working through grief and loss to find resilience'. As a poet, author and psychoanalytic psychotherapist, Dr Sinason has a long record of presenting stimulating and thought-provoking lectures.
