It is my pleasure to Present to you my Keyboard Instrumental Rendition of “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina”, written and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice and recorded by Julie Covington for the 1976 concept album Evita. It was later included in the 1978 musical theme of the same name, which was an opera based on the life of Argentine leader Eva Perón. The ad lib song became the best selling single in Australia for 1977 and spent 7 weeks at no. 1 position in the National Top 40 in the UK and Australia.
