Installing Reef-Tie Cringles (grommets) on a Mainsail

My little free boat had some pretty sad sails. So I didn't mind practicing my first time installing grommets for reef ties. When reefed, there is a lot of sail hanging down and it blocks my forwarf view. So 3 ties will keep it tidy and not flogging.
I used a variety brass grommet pack from Amazon. It comes with a hole punch; mini piece of wood and "tap"? Not sure what it's called.
It's not perfect but it is doing the job so far!
