This black-and-white educational film, a kinescope of a TV special from 1963, educates on the facts and timeline of twentieth-century Russian and Soviet history. It includes the Russian Revolution, the rule of Vladimir Lenin and Josef Stalin, World War I & II, Nikita Khrushchev's rule, communist corporations with China, and footage of economic, social, and cultural activities in the Soviet Union up until the 1960s. The film is distributed by McGraw-Hill Text-Films, hosted and scripted by the journalist from NBC News, Robert Abernathy, written and produced by Robert Northshield, directed by Don McDonough, edited by Richard Colbrook, with Leonard L. Leddington as associate producer, music by Morris Goldenberg.
