As soon as you're done drinking your coffee, take the used coffee grounds and use them to clean dirty dishes: a couple of teaspoons with a drop of regular dishwashing liquid will be enough to make any dirty dish or pan look as good as new again.

Want to keep rice stored in food containers dry for longer? Attach a packet of silica gel beads to inside the lid ensuring it doesn't come in contact with the food.

If you're not satisfied with the results your dishwasher gives you, add a small bowl with a few tablespoons of white vinegar in it to your next load; doing so will help ensure your wash comes out sparkling and streak-free.
