Snowbanks rising to the trees - one lane clear on the highway
Take your life into your hands every time you leave the driveway

It's time - to make some time for commuting
We’ve got to leave some room for breaking

Forecast for another foot - bread and milk they are in shortage
The kids miss another day of school - they'll be making it up when they're in college
Hopefully somewhere down south - ‘Cause it's still wintertime in New England!

So let that snow just pile up on the rooftop
Let the cold wind blow - it cannot touch me
Just hope these walls are strong enough
And my heating bills don’t crush me!

Spring will come I know it will but there's no sign outside my window
Who cares a’ Punxsutawney Phil and whether or not he sees his shadow.
Unless it points me to my car - 'Cause it's still wintertime in New England!

Well it's time - Time to take a selfie with a snowman
We’ve got to make some time for sledding
