Removing a broken dowel stem from a stiletto heel. I attempted to pull the old heel stem apart but twist it a little too far and it broke off in the heel. I did this twice 😐 both shoes... I decided to grab a drill and correct drill bit to remove the broken dowel stems from the shoes. They both came out with a little time and patience ( emphasis on patience ) and I'm glad to report that the shoes are back together and scooting along just fine.
