⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Vintage 1910s-1920s Lo-V Subway Cars in Passenger Service for the 2024 Yankees Home Opener!

The old Lo-V subway cars were introduced in the late 1910s and early 1920s for service on the IRT Subway, which makes up the modern-day numbered lines of the NYC Subway system. This train of preserved Lo-Vs ran in passenger service for the 2024 Yankees Home Opener!

The MTA and the NY Transit Museum are world-renowned leaders in utilizing preserved examples of vintage railcar fleets for positive public relations campaigns, film/TV shoots, and other events. Commonly seen as an example of global best practice, the MTA's world-class museum train program is admired and emulated by other transit agencies worldwide.
