I was planning to use a Bach cello as the background music for rest of my video, but unfortunately, I received a copyright claim for it. Last year, I listened to over 10,000 royalty-free music in search of one with the right vibe—and surprisingly, almost none met my standards. But at the very last minute before my return, I magically found this music. Coincidentally, it has a similar feel to Bach's cello but with a modern twist, which worked out perfectly for the vibe of this channel.

Also, for the first time, I was finally able to shoot a Gundam video with a proper background. This is getting really close to the visual style I had in mind when I first started the channel back in 2020. My previous house didn’t have the depth or natural lighting I needed. When I filmed the Entry Grade RX-78-2, I thought the background looked too boring, and I wanted more depth—but there just wasn’t a way to do it. The other side of the room was a mess, and there was no room for me to move around during the shoot. That’s when I came up with the idea to add LEDs in the background. Hindight, it’s interesting that what this channel started as compromise became one of the most used setups in the Gunpla community.

This time, I finally got to shoot it the way I originally imagined, without compromise. It’s really satisfying and surprising at the same time to see the idea unexpectedly work as intended.
