In 1985, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet comissioned a video to accompany an Olympic Bid for Brisbane to host the 1992 Olympic Games. The video produced by Fat Cat productions consists of scenic shots of Brisbane and locations around Queensland, such as beaches and the Great Barrier Reef.
The 1992 Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXV Olympiad, was an international multi-sport event celebrated in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain from 25 July to 9 August.
Brisbane has consistently placed bids to host the Olympic games.
