I purchased one of the cheapest clear title, running and almost rust free 100 series Toyota Landcruiser (Lexus badged) in May 2020. This SUV has the Toyota 4.7L 2UZ-FE V8. Several of these engines have reached one million miles. It has 328,000 at the time of this video.
For the first six months I spent lots of time being a shade-tree mechanic but... I did make time for fun. Now that the vehicle is caught up on maintenance we are building ONTO the vehicle this summer!!!
The vehicle was purchased for $4,200 USD plus an additional $2,600 in parts purchased. The final cost, thus far, has been $6,800. (No labor costs because I did all of the mechanical and repair work myself.)
