There were times when I had to hold the boat down when it was on the shore, such was the strength of some of the gusts. The bottom seam of the small mainsail gave up the fight, hence the crease in the sail. Will make a replacement sail this coming week, with stronger luff tape. Set the boat up with quite a lot of twist in the mainsail to depower it. Making good progress with understanding how to set up the steerable foils, once I had the boat moving, was frequently able to keep the boat flat, even in some of the gusts.
