Tafseer ul Quran | Surah isra | verse 78-81

•Verse 78 – Discusses the command of observing prayers at appointed times.
•Verse 79 – Highlights the excellence of Night prayer (Tahajjud), and the path to reaching Maqam-e-Mahmood, a high spiritual station granted by Allah to the most sincere servants.
•Verse 80 – Emphasizes seeking truth, Divine help, and humility in all efforts.
•Verse 81 – Declares that truth always prevails and falsehood perishes.

📌 Key Themes
•Namaz, Tahajjud, and Quran are the practices of the sincere believers, especially at the time of Sahar.
•A person involved in lies and sins is deprived of Namaz-e-Shab.
•Deprivation from Tahajjud leads to hardship in sustenance (rozi).
•The blessings of Sahar are lost due to sins.

Three Keys to Success:
1. Begin with sincerity.
2. Stay firm and truthful till the end.
3. Have hope and tawakkul, as Batil is bound to perish.

Ahadith and Sayings
•Rasool Allah (saww): “The best among you is the one who speaks with respect, feeds the hungry, and prays at night while others sleep.”
•Jibra’il (as) to Prophet (saww): “Live as you wish, you shall die; love whom you want, you shall part; do what you will, you shall be accountable. Know that the honor of a believer lies in his Namaz-e-Shab, and his dignity is in avoiding insulting others.”
•Imam Ali (as): “Tahajjud strengthens the body and brings Divine pleasure and mercy. It connects one with the character of the Prophets.”
•Imam Sadiq (as): “Do not abandon Namaz-e-Shab; one who misses it is in loss.”
•“A single lie may deprive a person from Tahajjud, and its loss leads to deprivation in sustenance.”
•Rasulullah (saww) to Imam Ali (as): “Protect the things I advise you, especially Namaz-e-Shab.”
