Adulthood looked so simple when we were kids: bills paid, routines handled, everything
figured out. Now? I don't know how our parents did it! But there's an added layer for
me...I have autism!
In this video, I open up about my journey with mental health: from childhood struggles to
navigating adulthood as an autistic woman: and how I’m learning to manage it all with
compassion and humour.
I also touch on how Hurricane Melissa has impacted the mental health of so many
Jamaicans, and why it’s more important than ever to take care of ourselves and each
other.
