How to make LED lamps / softboxes for video with your own hands - first you need to buy a broken LCD TV.
In theory, it is enough to remove the broken matrix and reassemble.
To test and compare which shines brighter, a LED light in a garage from a TV or store softboxes, I bought a smashed LG Edge LED LED TV and a TCL Direct LED LED TV
First I disassembled TCL TV with Direct LED backlighting. Matte plastic is flexible so that it does not sag when the LED lamp hangs on the ceiling, reinforced with knitting wire. LG Edge LED TV is heavier. Also disassembled it, removed the broken matrix and polarizing plastic sheets. The scattering plastic of this TV is thicker, so it was limited to aluminum tape, which was glued to the edges of the TV.
The result is a cool LED lamp for the garage from the TV, which, if necessary, can be used as LED lamps / softboxes for video filming by placing them on the stands.
I made softbox racks with my own hands 7 years ago and steel thin-walled pipes
I made 50W floodlights from sewer pipes and computer cooling radiators.
As it got dark, I set up shop softboxes, a studio umbrella, and LED video / softboxes on the racks to conduct tests.
