This travelogue takes viewers to Sweden for a tour of the town and country. It is presented by Swedish Travel Information Bureau (:25). A windmill spins over a cornfield (:36) in the southern plains. Other regions include the lake and forest portion in Central Sweden (:43) and the mountainous Lapland to the north (:47). Skane County (:55); known as Sweden’s farmland. The film heads for Kalmar on Sweden’s eastern coast (2:27). Kalmar Castle (2:31); erected in the 12th century, is pictured with swans floating in the waters before it. An electric Swedish railcar runs to Gothenburg (2:43). This is the second largest city (2:52) and the largest seaport. A shipbuilding yard (3:03). Gothenburg is a center for ship building and the home port of the Swedish American Line (3:07). King Gustavus Adolphus’ heritage brought Dutch influence to the city’s architecture (3:24).
