On 9 October 2025, the city of Leipzig celebrated 35 years of German reunification with a special kind of light festival:
five light art projects by East and West German artists formed a path of light, starting at St. Nicholas Church, the starting point of the Peaceful Revolution, and ending at Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz, the future site of the Freedom and Unity Monument. 🕯️
The film shows impressions and emotions from the event and allows contemporary witnesses and visitors to the Leipzig Festival of Lights to have their say. 🗨️✨
