On 03 August 1825, at least seven people - striking seamen and bystanders - were killed by soldiers at North Sands, Sunderland.
Exactly 200 years later, a commemoration for the event and the victims at the approximate site of the massacre.
Unfortunately a combination of gusting winds and a weedy PA system meant that most of the recorded sound came out as : 'Kkkrrrghh!' so improvisation was in order.
