‘The garter is gone’: King Charles strips Prince Andrew of key honours

UK barrister and broadcaster Andrew Eborn reacts to disgraced former prince Andrew being stripped of his Order of the Garter and Knight of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order royal titles.
“The garter is gone, Andrew is axed from the ancient order, and King Charles has delivered the ultimate royal rebuke,” Mr Eborn told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“King Charles has ordered the removal of the royal title on Monday, just over a month after Buckingham Palace announced that the King had brought down the axe on his younger brother.
“What’s also happened, just to add to the humiliation, his coat of arms, which is linked to the order of the Garter, was removed from St George’s Chapel in Windsor last month.”
