This is the second installment in a 3 part series. Mr. Wilson scores positive for high risk for alcohol use during his primary care visit. The practitioner consistently uses Motivational Interviewing skills until about half-way through the visit. Then her righting reflex kicks in and she begins instructing and directing Mr. Wilson, without leaving room for his own ideas about change.
