너는 기도할 때에 네 골방에 들어가 문을 닫고 은밀한 중에 계신 네 아버지께 기도하라 (마6:6)

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. (Matthew 6:6 ESV)

예수께서 그들에게 항상 기도하고 낙심하지 말아야 할 것을 비유로 말씀하여 (눅18:1)

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. (Luke 18:1 ESV)

이 때에 예수께서 기도하시러 산으로 가사 밤이 새도록 하나님께 기도하시고 밝으매 그 제자들을 부르사 그 중에서 열둘을 택하여 사도라 칭하셨으니 (눅6:12-13)

In these days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God. And when day came, he called his disciples and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles: (Luke 6:12-13 ESV)

예수는 물러가사 한적한 곳에서 기도하시니라 (눅5:16)
