So spoke with a private Drum Instructor whose Students are being encouraged to not take private lessons with him by the local Drumline Instructor.
When you are actively trying to discourage Students from learning from another teacher and taking food of another human being's plate, to me, that is one of the worst types of behaviors any Drum Instructor can do...it's probably one of the worst types of behaviors any human can do to be frank.
Of course, I've only heard one side of the story, but based on what I'm hearing, I feel like the Students should definitely think twice about learning from someone who appears to have a scarcity mindset and seems to be a little egotistical ;)
