In the past 6 months, three SC law enforcers were hit with prosecution after investigators said they were each caught having sex on duty with consenting adults. Basically, the court records show they were arrested and charged for having sex on duty.
The SC Highway Patrol just finished an internal affairs investigation into a pair of Troopers who admitted to multiple on-duty sex acts performed inside their patrol office. That case was never referred for criminal investigation. We also uncovered another case of a deputy having on-duty sex and he was never charged -- until years later when his new department accused him of using his badge to attempt to strike up a new relationship with a woman from a traffic stop.
