Join us for a peaceful Slow-TV and ASMR ambient sound experience as we take an autumn walk around Grinda Vannverk (Waterworks) and the beautiful Grindavatn (Lake) in Sandnes Municipality, Norway.
The Grinda Vannverk (also called Grina Vannverk) is a now-retired water-supply plant located in the Riska district of Sandnes municipality.
The nearby Grindavatn lake once supplied water to Sandnes, Sola and Forus.
The works at Grindavatn and Lomstjern were built during World War II (autumn 1942 to spring 1944) by German occupiers to safeguard water supply for Sola.
There is an underground tunnel (approx. 250 m long) carved under the water which carried pipes between Lomstjern (reservoir) and Grindavatn.
